The theory you stated is interesting. It sounds like you understand it so why dont you do it :)

Seriously though, if he died there would still be his invention left since it was only a heart attack he wouldnt of prepared a self destruct now would he?

But I do like that theory of yours/his

Tomonic, it's just not possible :P
especially pretending to be able to "store" an entire move on a 1024byte chip (and I do understand your idea of assigning specific keys (bytes) to specific patterns)
e.g. in a normal movie probably at least 1000 words are spoken (i don't have any statistics here, sorry ), well, anyway, just imagine each word had a single variable (byte) assigned to it, you would just have the words itself, no information about sound, intonation, pronunciation or even gender
(which wouldn't work with bytes anyway since 1 byte can, afaik, have only 256 values, and most language I know contain more than just 256 words)

well, anyway, even if you could miracle just the voices (voice-keys) into your chip, you would have no information about sound/melodies or pictures

in short, that entire thing is just like the fairy tale about the magical pot of porridge (that went amok and flooded all earth with ... well, porridge )

neway, nice job, I wonder whether there are actually people out there that are naive (and technically un-understanding) enough to believe that fraud

Hey i only tell what i read and saw on tv, well maybe your right that its just a fairy tale, and if you think about it it would be impossible.
But if you tell somone 500 years ago you can fly around the world in an airplain, and you can show movies on a box, thell will also say thats impossible.
Could it not be that it was just like a einstein or bell or wright guy that discovered the impossible.
The facts tell that more people believed in it and already invest milions in it.

You are saying he stored the keys for video and sound on 64kByte?
64kByte are 64 * 1024 * 8 Bit = 524288 Bit. That means he could store 2^524288 different keys on that memory.

And then you say that he developed an algorithm which can calculate an entire movie (video + sound) with nothing more information than the key?

Even though 2^524288 is quite a large number I really doubt that this is enough to address ALL POSSIBLE video image and sound combinations. I would even say that there is an infinite number of video image and sound combinations. But I can't prove that.

And what I really really really doubt is that an electrical engineer is able to develop such an algorithm. :)
